About IELTS
- IELTS measures ability to communicate in English across all four language skills –
listening, reading, writing and speaking – for people who intend to study or work
where English is the language of communication.
- All the four skills will be tested and marked separately.
- You will receive a final score in the bandwidth ranging from 1-9.
- Most Universities require a bandwidth above 6.5.
- Always check the website of the University you wish to join to know
if they accept IELTS scores and what scores are acceptable.
- The countries accepting IELTS scores are UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and now, USA.
