GRE (The Graduate Record Examination General Test)

About the GRE Mock Test

The format of the test is identical to the computer-based GRE in that it has exactly the same number of verbal and quantitative questions that an actual test has. Within each section, there is also exactly the same breakdown of question types. Directions will appear only the first time a given type of question is introduced in each test; after that only the type of question will appear.

Scores will be sent to the test taker along with the answer key. Evaluation of essay/writing task will be sent to the test taker within 3 working days.

  • Go through each section by answering the questions in the order in
       which they appear.
  • If you don’t know the answer, make a guess and move on.
  • Do not return to a question that you were unsure of and do not go
back to check your work if you have some time left over at the end of a
section. (This is because it is not possible to do that on a real GRE)
  • To best simulate test conditions, time yourself for each section.
